Description:
Position Purpose: Responsible for profitably increasing the Dairy market share and sales volume of feed and associated products to producers.

  • Work closely with Sales Professionals in providing education and solutions for dairy producers.

  • Work both individually and through Sales Professionals, helping dairy producers to mutually benefit by providing the right recommendations for nutrition and dairy management practices.

  • Provide leadership in nutrition and dairy education for the sales teams.

  • Partner in the organization and conducting of producer events that promote best practice for nutrition and management; including proof field trials to demonstrate the profitability of the Purina product line.

  • Communicate with the Purina technical team and research staff to lead innovative research and product development; both in the field and at the Purina Research Center in St. Louis, MO.

  • Maintain a high level of proficiency and competency in nutrition, production management, and selling skills through recommended training and verified by documented sales results.

  • Performs other duties and assume other responsibilities as assigned or requested.

Qualifications:
*Experience-Education (Required): *

Pursuing a degree in Animal Science, Ag Business or agriculture related major. Junior or senior status and previous animal sciences based sales experience are strongly preferred. Strong interpersonal communication ability, excellent organizational and time management skills. Possess a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and be able to lift/carry 50 pounds.
