POSITION SUMMARY: *
The Research Intern will do the following:Partner with San Antonio branch research staff, assist economists with their duties and contribute to department goals.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, providing support services and research assistance at a high level under the guidance of research staff to obtain, access and analyze data. Assist in production of charts and other graphics, literature reviews, writing and editing, conducting statistical and econometric analysis, and utilizing such software programs as may be appropriate and necessary. May also have the responsibility of assisting with one or more papers or research projects under the supervision of department officers and staff.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Eviews, SAS, or other statistical or econometric software experience, quantitative and writing skills
Student working toward degree in Economics or related field, i.e. Bachelors or Masters Program
WORK HOURS AND CONDITIONS:
- Temporary; part time hours and days not to exceed 20 hours per week or a total of 320 hours for the internship during the calendar year
